Firefighters located the fire in a second floor bedroom and brought it under control just after 9 a.m. Sunday, stopping it from spreading to the rest of the home.
A morning bedroom fire extinguished by Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) left two people with injuries.
Called to a two-storey single family home on the 3000 block of Tenth Line Road in Orléans, OFS reported a working fire at 8:48 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 26.
Though initial reports indicated all occupants had exited, firefighters conducted two full searches of the home to confirm.
