Alberta’s Chief Medical Officer of Health will provide a live update on COVID-19 Monday afternoon.
A release from the Province of Alberta notes that Dr. Deena Hinshaw will hold a livestreamed press conference at 3:30 pm MST to update the province on the work being done to protect public health.
Hinshaw will be joined by Tyler Shandro, the Minister of Health.
The province reported 643 new COVID-19 cases and 12 virus-related deaths on January 22.
To date, Alberta has now seen 120,793 cases and 1,549. deaths since the pandemic began in March 2020.
