Coronavirus Canada Updates: Quebec reports 433 new COVID-19 infections, lowest active case numbers since September

Health officials say another three Manitobans with COVID-19 have died and 126 new infections have been identified.

Manitoba’s acting deputy chief provincial public health officer, Dr. Jazz Atwal and Dr. Joss Reimer, medical officer of health and medical lead, Manitoba Vaccine Implementation Task Force will discuss the latest numbers at a 12:30 p.m. press conference.

Manitoba reported 83 cases Tuesday, the province’s lowest daily case count since mid-October.

Since March,29,858 Manitobans have contracted the virus and the number of deaths rises to 835.

The five-day COVID-19 test positivity rate was 6.9 per cent provincially and 3.9 per cent in Winnipeg as of Wednesday morning.
