RCMP have charged two women with leaving their municipality for non-essential reasons Friday morning.
Mounties say a vehicle was pulled over for a traffic violation on Highway 7 in Musquodoboit Harbour at around 8 a.m.
The driver from Indian Brook and the passenger from Millbrook were charged under the Health Protection Act.
“We all need to do our part to reduce the spread of COVID-19,” said Mounties in a news release. “The RCMP would like to thank Nova Scotians for their continued support, and express appreciation to the vast majority who are adhering to the directives outlined by the provincial government.”
