Largest yellow diamond discovered in North America

The largest diamond ever discovered in North America was found in Canada and is on display at Phillips Auction in New York City.

The diamond was uncovered by miners at Dominion Diamond Mines in Canada’s North West Territories.

At 552 carats, the yellow diamond is the seventh largest diamond ever found and is around the size of an egg.

The diamond will be on display from Thursday 1/31 to Sunday 2/3.
