Police are asking for the public’s help in a possible abduction investigation.

Investigators say they received calls around 9 p.m. Saturday night about a man and a woman involved in an altercation in the northbound lanes of the Allen Road between Lawrence Avenue West and Eglinton Avenue West.

Police say they were told the man forced the woman into a vehicle before fleeing the scene.

The woman is described as having long straight dark hair, last seen wearing a white puffy jacket.

The suspect is described as having a stocky build and wearing a dark jacket.

The vehicle is believed to be a dark coloured BMW 3 series.

“We don’t know the circumstances around this altercation that took place and we’re just reaching out to members of the public, if you witnessed an altercation of any sort on the side of the road that involved a man and a woman and you have dashcam footage or you have some suspect description and information for officers we would like to hear from you,” said Cst. Laura Brabant.
