Alberta – 1,075 cases, 18 deaths (196 resolved)

British Columbia – 1,203 cases, 38 deaths (704 resolved)

Manitoba – 194 cases, 2 deaths (17 resolved)

New Brunswick – 98 cases (28 resolved)

Newfoundland and Labrador – 203 cases, 1 death (18 resolved)

Northwest Territories – 4 cases

Nova Scotia – 236 cases (50 resolved)

Ontario – 3,630 cases, including 94 deaths (1,219 resolved)

Prince Edward Island – 22 cases (3 resolved)

Quebec – 6,997 cases, 61 deaths (231 resolved)

Saskatchewan – 231 cases, 3 deaths (55 resolved)

Yukon – 6 cases (3 resolved)

CFB Trenton – 13 cases

In order to contain the spread, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has restricted Canada’s borders, provinces and territories have declared states of emergencies, while people returning back to Canada must self-isolate for 14 days upon return under the Quarantine Act.

Those who don’t need to necessarily isolate are still being asked to practice social distancing. It involves keeping at least two metres away from others in social settings and staying home when possible in order to limit the spread.
