Alberta: Two new presumptive cases of COVID-19, Report

In a Sunday morning news conference, Alberta chief medical health officer Dr. Deena Hinshaw confirmed the latest presumptive case involves a man in his 60s from the Edmonton zone who was onboard a Grand Princess cruise ship and returned to the province Feb. 21.

The second latest presumptive is a woman in her 30s from the Calgary area. Dr. Hinshaw said she is a close contact of someone who had recently travelled in Europe, including Ukraine, Turkey and the Netherlands.

Hinshaw said people who are returning from travel need to be vigilant in watching for symptoms.
