Additionally, a rock slide south of Spuzzum has closed the Trans Canada Highway between Lytton and Hope. Detours are available via Highway 3 and 99.
A travel advisory is also in effect on the Trans Canada Highway between Lytton and Spences Bridge as heavy rain is expected between Sunday and Tuesday (Nov. 16). Closures may result due to the risk of sudden debris flows in fire affected areas.
The Trans Canada Highway is also closed in both directions between Sicamous and Revelstoke due to rocks on the road. DriveBC says crews are on scene. Drivers are asked to drive with caution, watch for traffic control, and expect major delays.
