A man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s were rushed to hospital in critical condition after the shooting at a home near Clementine Dr. and Pergola Way in Brampton. Police said they believe the shooting is an isolated incident.
Const. Bancroft Wright told reporters a male suspect entered the home where three adults and two children were inside at the time. He said a man in his 60s and a woman in her 40s were shot. Both victims were taken to a Toronto trauma centre.

Wright said the people inside the home are family members.
“Investigators at this time believe that it is an isolated incident as the suspect is known to one of the parties in the residence,” Wright said.
Police said early Friday morning that a 41-year-old unidentified male was arrested without incident in Brampton in the area of Ray Lawson Boulevard and Hurontario Street.
He is facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault and numerous firearms related offences.
