Provincial health officials announced 180 new cases of COVID-19 and two more deaths in Manitoba Saturday.
There are 2,986 active cases in Manitoba, with 283 people in hospital, 19 of them in intensive care.
The five-day test positivity rate is 10.2 per cent in Manitoba, and 7 per cent in Winnipeg.
The new deaths include:
· a man in his 70s from Southern Health-Santé Sud
· a man in his 80s from the Winnipeg health region.
Of the new cases announced Saturday, 10 cases are in the Interlake-Eastern health region, 69 cases in Northern, eight cases in Prairie Mountain Health region, 10 cases in Southern and 83 cases in the Winnipeg health region.
