Coronavirus Canada updates: One new case of COVID-19 in Niagara

Niagara Region Public Health is reporting one new case of COVID-19, and a total of four outbreaks.

Deer Park Villa in Grimsby, Pioneer Elder Care in St. Catharines, and Eastdale Secondary School in Welland are all experiencing outbreaks of COVID-19.

The other outbreak is considered a community outbreak.

The bulk of Niagara’s active cases of the virus are in St. Catharines and Welland.

Currently, Niagara has 43 active cases of COVID-19.
