A male between the age of 50 and 59 in the Eastern Health region is the newest confirmed case of COVID-19 in Newfoundland and Labrador.
The man is a resident of the province who was returning from work in Alberta and has been self-isolating since arriving.
The Department of Health and Community Services is asking anyone who travelled on Air Canada Flight 690 from Toronto to St. John’s on Tuesday, October 20, to arrange for testing for COVID-19 by calling 811.
There are currently 10 active cases of COVID-19 in the province, 275 people have recovered and 50,455 people have been tested.
