Coronavirus Update: Tam talks about AstraZeneca second doses and mixing vaccines

Quebec health officials have added 1,100 new COVID-19 cases and 28 additional deaths as the province eclipses 135,000 cases since the pandemic began in March.

Of the newly added deaths, 12 occurred over the past day, 14 between November 18 and 23, and two occurred “at an unknown date,” according to Santé Quebec.

The number of hospitalizations has remained stable since Tuesday, holding still at 655 across the province, 93 of whom remain in intensive care.

This is Quebec’s 8th consecutive day of reporting more than 1,000 new COVID-19 cases, dating back to November 16 when 982 were announced.

Total coronavirus cases in the province have now reached 135,430, along with 6,915 deaths.

Public health reports 2,001,772 negative cases, with over 100,000 being deemed “recoveries.”

The new data has been reported by hospitals and public health officials as of Tuesday, November 24, at 6 pm.
