Some Gundersen patients ages 16 through 64 are now being invited to schedule COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
Eligible patients with certain medical conditions can schedule an appointment.
Gundersen is making this decision as vaccine access and supply in our area continue to increase.
“We’ve been getting vaccine into arms very quickly,” Dr. Raj. Naik said. “So whatever we get that week, we use. A lot of our second doses are going into arms.”
Eligible patients who have a MyChart account, Gundersen’s online patient portal, will receive an invitation through that.
Otherwise, those who don’t have an account will get a letter in the mail.
