Pop powerhouse (and fellow emo) Demi Lovato has announced her engagement to actor Max Ehrich. The couple both took to Instagram to share the news alongside photos of the moment after a beach proposal.
The couple made their relationship public earlier this year. Ehrich is best known as Fenmore Baldwin in soap opera The Young And The Restless. He has also appeared in High School Musical 3: Senior Year, Ugly Betty, Shake It Up, iCarly, Parenthood and Stephen King adaptation Under The Dome.
In the announcement, Lovato opened up about a moment with her birth father and how she found her partner in Ehrich.
When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his “little partner” – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent. To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.
