Missing child Dylan Ehler’s parents have offered a $10,000 reward for his safe return.
The three-year old Bible Hill, N.S. boy disappeared May 6 while outside his grandmother’s residence in Truro on May 6. It was believed he had wandered into the nearby, fast-moving Lepper Brook, which feeds into the Salmon River. Despite extensive search efforts, no sign of the boy was detected, other than his rubber boots, which were found later that night in the brook.

The Truro Police Service has previously said it does not believe there was any foul play involved with Dylan’s disappearance. However, the department is maintaining an active missing person file with the case.

“The Criminal Investigation Division is continuing to follow any leads and tips that we receive,” the police service said in a news release. “Truro police are aware that a reward is being offered by Dylan’s family with information that will lead to his whereabouts. The reward is an initiative from the family.”

Investigators continue to update the family on the status of the missing person case, the release said, and anyone with information about Dylan’s disappearance is asked to 902-895-5351 or notify your local police agency with the information. Police file number 2020571594 should be referenced.
