Durham Police say five people have been found dead in an Oshawa home after an early morning shooting.

Police received multiple calls reporting the sound of gunshots around 1:20 a.m. Friday.

Two of the victims are believed to be men and the other two are thought to be in their early teens.

The fifth victim is believed to be a woman but police can’t confirm her age.

They are waiting on confirmation from the coroner.

Police initially reported that four people were found dead inside the home.

Officers also found a woman in the house with a gunshot wound. She was sent to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the shooter is among the dead.

Police say they’re not looking for any more suspects and there are no community safety concerns.
