When Wahini, the Golden Retriever, was 11-months-old she was being raised as an assistance dog in Costa Mesa, California. However, that all changed when she took to fostering a litter of kittens as her own “puppies”. As seen in the video Wahini “never complained, never tried to push them away, and generally cared for them as if she had birthed each one herself”.Wahini continued to foster many more kittens before later becoming a wonderful and nurturing mum to pups waiting on becoming assistance dogs.
