Huntsville OPP officers are investigating the discovery of skeletal remains.
Yesterday at 5:30 p.m., a tip reported the discovery west of Highway 11 in a large field near Hemmings Road in rural Huntsville.
Police say there is no public safety concern.
The Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario is being assisted in this investigation by the Huntsville OPP Crime Unit, OPP Central Region Forensic Identification Services and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
The investigation is ongoing and further information will be released when it becomes available.
