Jonathan Rhys Meyers has reportedly been charged for drink-driving after crashing his car in Malibu.
The Tudors actor was arrested in November and now faces “one count of driving under the influence of alcohol”, according to US Weekly.
He was also charged with “driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more”.
The 43-year-old – who starred in Bend It Like Beckham – is said to be due in court on February 25 after prosecutors filed a case against him.
He reportedly failed a field sobriety test when police arrived on the scene of a minor car accident in November.
His battle with alcoholism has been well documented over the years.
It is believed the Dracula actor has had six stints in rehab – first checking for treatment in Malibu in 2005, the MailOnline reported.
He is then said to have returned two years later in 2007 and a third time in 2009.
In November 2011, the actor was ordered to pay a restitution of €1,000 by the French courts and giving a suspended sentence for public intoxication 24 months earlier.
