Meghan Markle wedding dress LEAKED? MEGHAN Markle will marry Prince Harry is just two weeks and, while the details of the bride’s wedding dress had been kept a closely guarded secret, an insider has named the designer as Ralph & Russo.
Meghan Markle’s wedding dress details have been kept under wraps by Kensington Palace in one of the biggest secrets since the royal weddings of Princess Diana and the Duchess of Cambridge.
However, an insider has revealed the bride has chosen Australian designer duo, Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo, to make the first of two wedding dresses she will wear on the day.
Meghan will walk down the aisle in Ralph & Russo number by the at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle on May 19.
An insider told the Daily Mail: “It sounds a lot but this is the wedding of the year and hundreds of hours of manpower have gone into making it, almost all by hand.”
Prince Harry opted to follow tradition and does not know anything about the dress including the designer, although the ginger royal’s family are reportedly forking out the £100,000 for the first bridal grown.
The source added: “He is so excited about the wedding and is being remarkably traditional about everything.”
Australian designer duo Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo were tipped as the favourite to design Meghan’s wedding dress after she wore a £56,000 semi-sheer black evening dress from the label for her official engagement portrait.
And earlier this week it is understood their haute couture team visited the Royal School of Needlework, which was responsible for the bespoke lace on the Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding dress.
Another source said: “It’s a breathtaking dress and more of a show-stopper than Kate Middleton’s wedding gown, but it also adheres to royal etiquette.
“Her shoulders, for example, will be covered in the chapel.
