Police in York Region say a 70-year-old vulnerable woman that went missing in Thornhill two days ago has been located safe.
Officers at a search command post confirmed to CityNews that Lavene Gordon was found safe on Wednesday morning.
Gordon went missing Monday afternoon around 1 p.m. when she went for a walk in the area of Bathurst and Steeles and did not return home.
She was first reported missing around 6 p.m. on Monday evening.
A command post was set up at Bathurst and Milner Gate during the search.
