Police: Two teen girls arrested after robbery at knifepoint

Police have arrested two 15-year-old girls after a person was robbed at knifepoint in Waterloo.

Police were called to Sunview Street and University Avenue West in Waterloo around 11 p.m. after a pair of girls approached a person with knives and demanded their personal property before fleeing on foot.

The suspects were found and arrested shortly after the incident.

As a result of the investigation, two 15-year-old teenagers, both from Waterloo, were charged with robbery and obstructing police.
