If you’ve been keeping up with the royals, you’ll know that Princess Beatrice began dating Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a multi-millionaire property tycoon, a couple of months ago.
The two have been keeping their relationship super private, to the point where they hadn’t even been photographed together until a few days ago. It’s possible that they’re keeping it low-key because there is rumored to be some tension with Edo’s ex, with whom he has a two-year-old son.
Either way in the pictures, which can be seen on the Daily Mail, Beatrice and Edo look happy and relaxed while on a holiday trip to Lamu, an island off Kenya where Edo has an estate (casual!). They’re on vacation with family and celebrated New Year’s eve on the island.
And apparently it’s not only Beatrice and Edo who are happy about the match—the Daily Mail reports that Beatrice’s mother, the Duchess of York, is “thrilled” with Edo, and a friend shares, “How sweet it is that two families who have known each other for so many years can think that something permanent might come of this.”
So basically, now might be a good time to start mentally preparing for another royal wedding!
