The vehicle went through the guard rail of the Henri Séguin Bridge at the intersection of County Road 9 and Concession 12 just after 4 p.m. Saturday.
Officers from the Hawkesbury detachment are continuing to investigate the cause of a weekend crash that killed a 27-year-old Hawkesbury resident, the Ontario Provincial Police said Monday.
OPP officers, Prescott-Russell paramedics and the Nation Township firefighters responded after the vehicle went through the guard rail of the Henri Séguin Bridge at the intersection of County Road 9 and Concession 12 just after 4 p.m. Saturday.
The driver, who police did not identify, was pronounced dead at the scene.
They’re investigating with the help of OPP technical collision investigators and a reconstructionist.
