Two people are in life-threatening condition after being shot while in a car in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police said a man and a woman were transported to a trauma center after being shot in the Central Park Dr. -Graham Cres. area around 5 p.m. Sunday.
A light-coloured vehicle was seen fleeing the area, police said.
“We received multiple calls from people who witnessed the event,” Peel police Duty Insp. Derek Meeker told CP24.
Meeker said it’s too early in the investigation to provide much information.
The scene is being investigated and he encouraged witnesses to contact police.
