An Ontario Amber Alert issued for a two-year-old girl Wednesday evening was cancelled after the toddler was safely located.
The alert was put in effect around 7:40 p.m. by the Ontario Provincial authorities after Toronto Police Services requested.
Police said the girl was seen at a residence on Keele St. Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m. when taken by her father.
The alert was called off shortly after 8 p.m., after police confirmed the child was found safe. Police say the girl is being assessed by Toronto paramedics.
Ontario Amber Alert has been cancelled. The child has been located safe.
