Three people have been injured, including two children, following a single-vehicle collision in Vaughan.
Police say a car went off the road on Athabasca Drive, just off Dufferin Street north of Teston Road, and struck three people.
Two children, a 4-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl, were taken to hospital in critical condition. A third person, an adult male, suffered minor injuries.
Photos from the scene show a black Mercedes sitting on a lawn while police evidence cones can be seen a few houses down.
According to reports from the scene, a young driver of a Mercedes failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, climbed up on to a lawn, striking a man and two children.
Police say the teenage driver of the vehicle is under arrest but have not said what charges he is facing at this time.
