Food truck are an exploding new trend, with varied different options available in the Lehigh Valley, two new offering will be appearing very soon.
The first truck is totally new, even its operators have never run a restaurant business before, it is an Egyptian gourmet food truck. The bright-red vessel with a full industrial kitchen, named the Taza Truck, is scheduled to open for operation on March 22nd. Taza will feature soups, sandwiches, sides and deserts. Vegetarian, Vegan, and gluten-free dishes will be offered also.
Taza Truck does not have a fixed location, but plans to move daily through out the week: Kutztown, Trexlertown, Salisbury Township, Upper Saucon Township, and Desales University campus are the initial planned areas.
The second truck is an extension of an established Lehigh Valley eatery; Blondies, most famous for their designer cupcakes. This food truck will debut in Allentown by the end of April or beginning of May.
The Blondies Truck will feature a reduced offering form their restaurant menu–hot dogs, fries, deep fried pretzels, milkshakes, and of course designer cupcakes.
