The Missouri State Highway Patrol shared a dashcam video of one of their troopers nearly being struck by a semi-truck on Interstate 70 on Wednesday.
State Trooper Eric Penrod was working a crash yesterday on I-70 in Callaway County. While standing to the left of his patrol vehicle(not in camera view), he was nearly struck by a speeding tractor trailer that lost control. MSHP Troop F said Trooper Eric Penrod was working a crash on I-70 in Callaway County on Wednesday.
While he was standing out of camera view to the left of his patrol vehicle, he was nearly struck by a speeding semi-truck that lost control on the snow and ice-covered highway.
The MSHP said luckily, Trooper Penrod was able to leap out of the way.
