From the thrilling Elimination Chamber matches to The Miz ending the night on a high note, Elimination Chamber 2021 was filled with many highlights for the WWE Universe.
It was indeed a highlights-filled night for the WWE Universe at the recently concluded Elimination Chamber 2021 which saw one epic match after another take place. When it comes to the SmackDown Elimination Chamber Match for an immediate Universal Championship bout against Roman Reigns, Daniel Bryan was able to defeat the likes of Jey Uso, Cesaro, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn and King Corbin in an impressive showing.
However, exhaustion played the main key opponent as Roman was quickly able to fend off Daniel during their match with a powerbomb and his deadly Guillotine Choke. Bryan was unable to respond which eventually put an impromptu end to the title defence. However, Reigns’ celebration was short-lived as the Men’s Royal Rumble winner Edge out of nowhere speared The Tribal Chief and pointed at the Wrestlemania 37 sign finally confirming his opponent for The Show of Shows, after teasing fans about it for weeks. On the other hand, when it came to the Raw Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship, Drew McIntyre was able to retain his title against AJ Styles, Sheamus, Jeff Hardy, Kofi Kingston and Randy Orton.
With Lashley gifting The Scottish Psychopath a surprise post-match win beatdown which included a deadly Spear, Mr. Money in the Bank The Miz took his swift opportunity and cashed in his MITB briefcase. A Skull-Crushing Finale sealed the deal for McIntyre as The Miz was shockingly crowned the new WWE Champion.
